Sunday Coupons

In my quest to cut grocery costs I decided to go back to coupon clipping. My grandmother gets the Sunday paper, but doesn't use the coupons so she happily donates them to my cause. I picked up my first batch yesterday, and was hugely disappointed! The inserts are full of ads, and little else.

Smart Source has 1 cookie coupon, and 1 Silk drink coupon, the rest are pharmacy products or pet food. 10 coupons total, none of which are useful to my household.

Red Plum has 9 products with coupons but only 2 are food related, a bread company I'm unfamiliar with and Foldgers.

Are you noticing the coupon inserts are not useful in helping you cut costs for your household? Are you supplementing with printable coupons from the Internet? If so, what are your favorite sites?
